Application Process


A panel of eminent technocrats will process the applicants, interview the promoters and select the ventures for incubation after carefully evaluating the business idea, market availability, potential value of the technology, growth prospects, innovative content and promoter team. The panel will consist of experienced and qualified professionals from specific industry, leading bankers, seasoned venture capitalists and academicians of repute.

Eligibility


  1. Faculty Members from University Campus.

  2. Students and Alumni of the University Departments.

  3. SGBAU Research & Incubation Foundation Centre partners (sponsor companies) or any other organization wanting an off shoot of its existing business.

  4. SGBAU Research & Incubation Foundation Centre partner Universities / Institutions of University Campus.

  5. Agencies associated with SGBAU Research & Incubation Foundation Centre’s research & innovation.

  6. Gross root innovator who has innovative idea / Proposals for Incubation (Business Incubator) must meet with one or more of the following parameters:

    • Proposals with Intellectual Property (IP) generated at SGBAU Research & Incubation Foundation Centre & transferred to the company for a consideration.

    • IP belonging to Faculty / Student / Alumni created outside SGBAU Research & Incubation Foundation Centre & transferred to the company.

    • Proposals that have social & strategic impacts.

    • Proposals having interaction and involvement with SGBAU Research & Incubation Foundation Centre facilities with or without use of Incubation Centre facilities.
