The SGBAU Research & Incubation Foundation has been established in Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University under the aegis of the Maharashtra State Innovation Society MSInS (Govt. of Maharashtra.) The aim is to encourage entrepreneurship among locals with the colleges serving as focal points. It is a platform for nurturing, encouraging and developing innovation and entrepreneurial skills among its students, research scholars and alumni, as well as students of the region.
The main objective of the Centre will be to promote the Entrepreneurial Spirit among the students and undertake cutting edge research on contemporary issues for MSInS. The Centre will also serve as a nodal emplaned agency for MSInS in India to conduct study tours for students, organize workshop and training programs for the MSInS clusters.
SGBAU Research & Incubation Foundation is committed to nurturing future-leaders and entrepreneurs, who will power their organizations, create innovations in products and services in the emerging economies. The focus of entrepreneurship is unique at SGBAU Research & Incubation Foundation since it is also a core value that we carry. Entrepreneurship is one of the key building blocks of the institute and with that approach we have also created a Technology and Business Incubator supported by the Maharashtra State Innovation Society MSInS (Govt. of Maharashtra.).
SGBAU Research & Incubation Foundation provides freedom to students and entrepreneurs to grow with institutional support which they need to explore for their entrepreneurial ambitions. This is reflected in all aspects of our programs: in-depth orientation to entrepreneurship from day one; an inspiring range of elective courses; intensive mentoring during the program and beyond; flexible placement options for students choosing to pursue an entrepreneurial venture; assistance in procuring seed funding and equity capital.
Entrepreneurship in India is on the verge of explosive growth. Angel investors, venture capital, media, startup clubs, service providers, mentors and training companies are going to grow. And one important cog in the wheel is the incubator – the place where startups are born. a startup is incubated in Incubation Center, which gives them a chance to bring their business in shape, before they reach out to the world.
To have a positive impact on our nation and the world of business, creating jobs through entrepreneurship, fostering innovation and creating economic-value in the region, we endeavour through our curriculum efforts on entrepreneurship - fostering and outlook to create such a socially responsible impact
SGBAU Research & Incubation Foundation remains ever committed to promote and harness the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the University
